Remembering when Barca hit Real for four at the Bernabeu

El Clásico remains arguably the biggest game in club football as Spanish football’s top two go head-to-head, an occasion for which fans across the world stop to watch as Real Madrid take on Barcelona.

The two rivals have competed for superiority in Spain for decades and have enjoyed incredible success throughout their histories, having won 60 league titles and 18 Champions League trophies combined.

There have been some truly memorable El Clásico encounters throughout the years with both clubs having enjoyed their fair share of statement results, including this four-goal thrashing from Barcelona on their way to a domestic double in 2015/16.

Luis Suarez netted twice for the Catalans in a Bernabeu embarrassment for Real Madrid, with further goals from Andres Iniesta and Neymar securing an emphatic victory for the eventual champions.
