David Beckham became one of the greatest free-kick takers of his generation during a remarkable career, producing a catalogue of set-piece specials at some of Europe’s leading clubs.
Beckham became the most prolific free-kick scorer in Premier League history at Manchester United, before departing his boyhood side to become Real Madrid’s latest Galactico in the summer of 2003.
Across four seasons with the Spanish giants the midfielder delivered some special moments, including a collection of brilliant free-kicks from all manner of distances and angles.
Conceding a foul anywhere in range often proved costly with Beckham amongst the opposition, the ‘Bend it like Beckham’ phrase captioned for good reason.
