Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Manchester United saw the forward undergo an incredible transformation, arriving as a promising teenage talent before evolving into arguably world football’s finest talent.

Ronaldo’s 2007/08 season remains one of the best individual campaigns in Premier League history, with the Portugal international scoring 42 goals in all competitions as the Red Devils won a league and Champions League double.

His performances saw Ronaldo named as the PFA Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year for a second successive season, whilst 2008 also saw the star win the first of his five Ballon d’Or accolades.
