Romelu Lukaku will turn down interest from the Premier League and elsewhere as long as Antonio Conte remains manager of Inter Milan.
Lukaku has been a revelation since signing for Inter from Manchester United in a £73m deal, becoming the fastest player in the club’s history to reach 50 goals in all competitions.
The Belgium international has scored 19 league goals and provided a further eight assists in just 26 appearances so far this season, his performances having fired the Nerazzurri to the top of the division and within sight of a first league title in over a decade.
According to the Mail, the forward’s performances have attracted transfer interest from the Premier League with both Manchester City and Chelsea considering a potential move, whilst Real Madrid and Barcelona have also been linked as they consider their centre-forward options this summer.
Inter have rejected all interest in the 27-year-old who is understood to be keen to stay at the San Siro, providing Conte remains in charge of the club with the two sharing a strong relationship.
Lukaku has enjoyed the best football of his career under the guidance of the Italian and has scored 59 goals in just 85 appearances since his arrival at Inter, forming a fine partnership with Lautaro Martinez for the Serie A league leaders.
Lukaku will also be tasked with spearheading Belgium’s challenge at this summer’s European Championship, the forward having netted an equaliser in the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with Czech Republic to take his record international tally to 59 goals in just 91 caps.
