Bruno Fernandes has returned to the starting lineup for Man Utd as they take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Red Devils captain was dropped to the bench for last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth at Old Trafford after questioning manager Michael Carrick’s tactics.
The pair cleared the air in face-to-face talks this week after Carrick clung onto his job amid a wretched run of form, and Fernandes replaces Youri Tielemans in the no.10 position.
Lisandro Martinez replaces Ayden Heaven in the only defensive change, while it appears Diogo Dalot has been shifted to left-back and Leny Yoro is at right-back.
The midfield pairing of Carlos Baleba and Andrey Santos, who returns to Chelsea for the first time since his £50 million summer move, has been retained. Kobbie Mainoo returns to the matchday squad after recovering from injury.
Luke Shaw, Patrick Dorgu and Benjamin Sesko remain unavailable for Carrick.
Meanwhile, Xabi Alonso has handed Estevao Willian a first Premier League start of the season, joining Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers in a front three without a recognised striker.
Maxence Lacroix misses out through injury, as does Joao Pedro, Emi Martinez, Reece James and Jorrel Hato. Pep Chavarria is back in the squad as a substitute.
Chelsea vs Man Utd lineups as Bruno Fernandes and Estevao start:
Chelsea starting XI: Penders; Acheampong, Fofana, Colwill, Palestra; Caicedo, Lavia; Estevao, Palmer, Neto; Rogers.
