Harry Kane finished with more assists than any other Premier League player in 2020/21, with the forward showcasing a new side to his game in a more creative role.
The Tottenham forward has long been one of the division’s greatest goalscorers and cemented his reputation as one of Europe’s best numbers nines by winning a third Golden Boot award last season.
That accolade incredibly came alongside the Premier League’s Playmaker Award, as Kane registered a league-leading 14 assists to become just the second player to finish outright top of both metrics in the same season.
Kane often dropped deeper and demonstrated his fine passing range with killer passes behind opposition defences, with Son Heung-Min the main beneficiary as the partnership between the players reached new levels.
