Juventus were the dominant force in Italian football throughout much of the mid-2000s, their pre-Calciopoli scandal team packed full of world-class talents.
Amongst those were Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Patrick Vieira, who combined memorably to score this goal against Parma during the 2005/06 league season.
Vieira – signed from Arsenal after a glittering nine-year career in the Premier League – starts the move and gallops forward in that familiar long-legged stride, before finding the feet of Ibrahimovic further forward.
The Swede was beginning to develop his reputation at Juventus and after squaring up the defender, lifts an inch-perfect ball back into the path of the onrushing midfielder to power home a header to secure a 2-1 win.
