Arjen Robben won league titles in four different countries during a career of huge success, the winger amongst the finest footballers of his generation.
Robben rose to prominence at Groningen before spells with both PSV and Chelsea, winning back-to-back league titles with the latter before a £24m move to Real Madrid.
Despite injury problems, the former Netherlands international impressed across two seasons in the Spanish capital, forming part of the Los Blancos side that was crowned as La Liga champions during the 2007/08 campaign.
Robben made 65 appearances in all competitions before a move to Bayern Munich, with his subsequent success perhaps leading to a slight feeling of regret amongst the Bernabeu hierarchy.
