Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to meet with Romelu Lukaku to discuss the forward’s future at the club according to reports today.
Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Manchester United in recent months, having endured a disappointing end to the season.
The Belgian has failed to score since United’s Champions League win at Paris Saint-Germain on March 6, going eight games without a goal in all competitions.
The £75m signing has fallen behind Marcus Rashford in the pecking order at the club, with Lukaku recently admitting he is keen on a move to Italy ‘sooner or later’.
According to The Sun Lukaku is not amongst the players Solskjaer is desperate to move on, though the United boss is keen to see where the 25-year-old sees his own future having been left concerned by his recent form.
United have been linked with a big-money move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala this summer and the arrival of the Argentine could also impact Lukaku’s future at Old Trafford, with the striker having been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
