Sadio Mane has revealed his happiness with life at Liverpool, with the forward describing the club’s fans as the ‘best in the world’.
The Senegal international has made a huge impact since arriving from Southampton in 2016, the 27-year-old emerging as one of the club’s stand-out players and earning a share of the Premier League‘s Golden Boot last season.
Mane also impressed during Liverpool‘s Champions League success last season and his performances saw him linked with a potential move to Spanish giants Real Madrid during the summer.
However, the player has moved to dismiss any talk of a move away from Anfield by reiterating his happiness with life on Merseyside.
“To be honest, I’m really happy to be a part of the club, the family here,” when asked about his future by Complex. “We have the best fans in the world here, so I’m always so thankful for the support.
“It’s not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform.
“It keeps us hungry to get better and better together – I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here!”
