Hernan Crespo banging them in for Inter Milan

Hernan Crespo became the world’s most expensive footballer at the turn of the century, with the Argentine amongst Europe’s finest finishers.

Crespo enjoyed a prolific spell at Parma before his world record transfer to Lazio, where another goal-laden period followed before signing for Inter Milan amongst the capital club’s financial issues.

The forward enjoyed two separate spells with the Nerazurri during his career and won three league titles, scoring 45 goals in just 116 appearances, either side of stints with Chelsea and city rivals AC Milan.

In an era that saw Italian football home to some of the greatest goalscorers of their generation, Crespo was amongst the premium poachers with his ability to find the back of the net when half-chances presented themselves.

Here are Hernan Crespo’s best goals from his time with Inter Milan.
