It’s safe to say its been a pretty boring transfer window, but it looks like the final 24 hours of the transfer window could finally be about to produce a bit of excitement.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of attacking midfielders, as have Manchester United, while Everton seem to be linked to anyone and everyone as Marcel Brands bring football manager to life.
Arsenal are also a club who are expected to be busy on deadline day, with the North London outfit still keen on signing a centre-back and a left-back.
The Gunners saw a £55 million bid for Dayot Upamecano rejected earlier this week, and have also been linked with a move for Juventus’ Daniele Rugani.
However, reports from Sky Sports on Wednesday afternoon have claimed that Chelsea’s David Luiz is keen on a move to the Emirates.
The 32-year-old trained away from the main Chelsea squad today, and according to the Evening Standard, is concerned about his playing time this season after being left out of the pre-season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach.
Arsenal are yet to make a formal bid for the Brazilian, though Chelsea are apparently keen to keep him, especially considering that their transfer ban prevents them from bringing in a replacement.
