Arsenal are set to make a move for Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele in the January transfer window.

Several reports have suggested the 21-year-old France international may be set to leave The Camp Nou this winter having struggled to settle in Catalonia.

The winger has struggled to establish himself in Spain due to injuries and inconsistencies and it is believed the Barcelona hierarchy are willing to cut their losses on a player signed for £97m from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

According to Mundo Deportivo Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat is keen to sanction a move for Dembele, having played a key role in taking the Frenchman from Rennes to Dortmund during his time with the Bundesliga club.

It is believed Arsenal manager Unai Emery is also keen to secure his services of the French World Cup winner and wants a deal done in the January window.
