Andre Onana has been linked strongly with a move to the Premier League this summer, with Arsenal reportedly emerging as favourites to sign the Ajax goalkeeper.

Onana has impressed since leaving the Barcelona academy system to sign for the Dutch side, making more than 200 appearances and twice winning domestic doubles during his time with the Amsterdam outfit.

The Cameroon international has spoken previously about his interest in moving to England, with Ajax understood to be prepared to sanction his sale after Onana was banned for 12 months for a doping violation in February 2021.

Arsenal could now sign the highly-rated 25-year-old in a cut-price deal as Mikel Arteta seeks to strengthen his goalkeeping options, with Onana having won plenty of plaudits for his performances in recent seasons.
