Ryan Fredericks has admitted how much he would love to play against his former club Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.
The full-back signed for the Hammers last summer after being a key cog in Slavisa Jokanovic’s side that won promotion via the playoffs.
Fulham have struggled to replace Fredericks, with both Manchester United loanee Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Cyrus Christie failing to fill in at right-back sufficiently, while he has only made six Premier League appearances for West Ham United.
Despite not having as much of an impact as he would have liked this season, ‘Freddo’ is still hoping to play against his former team.
“Of course, I’d love to start on Friday night as I’ve got a lot of good memories and a lot of good friends from my time at Fulham,” he told whufc.com.
“Obviously, it’s not going too well for them at the moment, but I’ve changed teams now and my loyalties are firmly with West Ham.
“It would be great if they could get out of trouble, but I’ve got more important things to worry about for myself than my old club.”
