Anderson confident West Ham will come through ‘tough patch.’

West Ham’s Felipe Anderson believes his side’s results will soon start to improve following a difficult period for the club.

After significant summer investment, The Hammers have won just three of their opening 13 Premier League games, and after Saturday’s humbling 4-0 home defeat to champions Manchester City, sit 14th in the table.

Felipe Anderson, who arrived for a club-record fee from Lazio in the summer, believes West Ham will soon be rewarded for their hard work.

“Certainly, we are going through a rough patch, but we think that we can play well and get the results we need,” Anderson told whufc.com.

“Unfortunately, Saturday’s result made us sad, but I think that by working hard and being patient we can achieve better results and we’ll be able to show that we’re good enough.”

West Ham travel to in-form Newcastle this weekend ahead of a promising looking fixture list to round out the year. With seven games left to play in 2018, Manuel Pellegrini’s side will play just one side currently in the top half as they look to climb the table.
