The best tweets from the world of football this past week, featuring cat-like reflexes, 2020 ruining our plans, Erling Haaland’s post-match interview demeanour, and Cafu eternally looking for the ball.
His faux devastation is a bit annoying, but you have to admit the cat deserves a trial at a Premier League club.

Some were left unimpressed by Erling Haaland’s post-match interview last week, but we weren’t given the whole picture.

There’s a seemingly easy solution, of course.
You might think Erling Håland is a stroppy teenager because of his post-match monosyllables but I had a chat with him in February and he hung around for 20 minutes after the interview to talk about Yorkshire. So maybe people should just ask him more about Yorkshire.

Didier Drogba gave us this great thread about Chelsea’s Champions League triumph in 2009.
Eight years ago,
the Manager had been sacked by the club and we, the players had a team meeting where we recognised being partly responsible for his departure.
The captain @johnterry spoke, @franklampard @petrcech and other leaders in the group too.— Didier Drogba (@didierdrogba) May 19, 2020

Sadly Petr Cech didn’t even get to celebrate properly!
So this is unfortunately for the first time I’ve seen the celebrations in the dressing room because I couldn’t be there … I was sitting in the doping control room … ????????♂️ https://t.co/xGZoWKUFTk

This Cafu thread was also delightful.
???? Cafu Wants The Ball ????
The Brazilian calling for a pass, moments before a teammate scores a golazo instead… (a thread)

Topical.
Dominic Cummings travelled further in lockdown with coronavirus than Crewe Alexandra have ever gone for a competitive game in their 143-year history.
