Mohamed Salah has spoken of the ‘unbelievable feeling’ following Liverpool’s title success and has dedicated their Premier League triumph to the club’s ‘crazy’ fans.
Liverpool were crowned as champions of England for the first time in three decades last week, the Reds securing a maiden Premier League crown with seven games to spare following a record-breaking season.
The victory follows successes in the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup last year, and Salah struggled to explain his emotions after helping end the club’s long wait for a league title.
“It’s an unbelievable feeling to win a trophy like that,” he told Liverpoolfc.com. “To win the Premier League after long years for the club and the city, it’s unbelievable.
“I can’t describe with words, it’s so hard to say that [how it feels]. When I came here, I said I wanted to win the Premier League – it’s my first thing in my head, I want to win the Premier League and the Champions League. People said, ‘If you could choose one…?’ But now I can say that I’d choose both!
“The Premier League, I can say now after we won it, for the city it is something else. Everybody is crazy about the result, everybody is crazy about the Premier League.
Yes. It feels THAT good. I want to thank all our supporters watching us from all corners of the world. You made this possible for us and I hope we can keep bringing you the joy you deserve. ???? now they’re gonna believe us ???? ???? pic.twitter.com/bqkXM1Fjpj

“It is an unbelievable feeling for everybody, for all the fans around the world. Without their support, we could not do it. They did a great job, the players also did the same. It is a great feeling, I cannot explain it with words.”
Salah has once again been at the forefront of the club’s success and is the Reds’ leading scorer with 21 goals in all competitions, the Egyptian in contention to secure a third consecutive Premier League Golden Boot.
The 28-year-old admits he has been pleased with his personal contribution to the side’s success, and suggested he is keen to remain on Merseyside as Jurgen Klopp’s side seek further silverware in the coming seasons.
“It’s great to score goals to help the team to win games,” added Salah. “So I feel like I am happy here, I am doing good and everything is also working well with the team and we’ve won trophies.
“Everything is good and I am enjoying it.”
Salah dedicated a final message to the Liverpool fans for their continued support in recent years, emphasising the importance of the club’s fanbase in achieving their recent success.
“We did everything we could to make them happy, but without their support we could not do it,” he said.
“For sure they did a great job at Anfield and always at away games. I am very happy – Liverpool, this is for you!”
