Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has reportedly held talks with Real Madrid about a summer move for the Manchester United midfielder.
The Spanish giants have been linked with a move for the Manchester United number 6 in recent weeks, with Pogba admitting on international duty last week that playing for Real Madrid ‘would be a dream for anyone’.
The 26-year-old also spoke glowingly about Zinedine Zidane, with the former France international midfielder having returned to the club as manager last month.
The Manchester Evening News are now reporting that Raiola has held talks with representatives from the Bernabeu, with the club’s hierarchy ready to back Zidane in this summer’s transfer market.
Madrid were interested in signing Pogba when he left Juventus for Old Trafford in 2016, but deemed the then £89m fee as excessive, though any deal for Pogba now would likely be in excess of £100m.
Zidane is set to receive significant funds this summer to add to his squad after a disappointing campaign in the Spanish capital, with Chelsea star Eden Hazard also reportedly amongst his top targets.
