Ranking the five favourites to sign Harry Kane this summer

Harry Kane’s future is in the headlines once again, with reports suggesting that Tottenham are keen to offer the forward a new deal in a bid to fend off interest from Europe’s elite.

Kane expressed a desire to leave Spurs last summer amid interest from Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola having revealed that the Premier League champions saw four approaches rejected for the England captain.

The 28-year-old is keen to assess Spurs’ project before committing his future to the north Londoners, who are eighth in the Premier League and in real danger of missing out on Champions League football once again.

So for those of you who would like to avail of 10 euro gratis casino, we’ve decided to look at where the Bookmakers expect the star striker to end up.

Here are the five favourites to sign Harry Kane this summer.

Real Madrid – 14/1

Real Madrid have long been named as admirers of Kane, with the Spanish giants seeking to relaunch their project with a number of high-profile additions this summer.

Kylian Mbappe remains the lead target for Los Blancos as he approaches the end of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, whilst there is also believed to be strong interest from the Spaniards in Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland.

The pursuits of those names plus the presence of Karim Benzema make an approach for Kane look unlikely, unless there are major changes in the club’s recruitment plans ahead of the summer window.

Chelsea – 12/1

Chelsea were believed to be interested in signing Kane last summer, in a move that would irreversibly damage the forward’s relationship with Tottenham.

There are a number of names who have represented both clubs in the Premier League era, but rarely have the two London rivals done direct business and never for personnel as high-profile as the England captain.

Chelsea ended their search for a centre-forward with the £97.5m signing of Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan last summer, but he has endured a difficult debut season and there are murmurs that the 28-year-old is keen on an exit.

Should Lukaku leave as Thomas Tuchel struggles to get the best from the Belgian, Chelsea could launch an ambitious move for Kane.

However, given how Daniel Levy refused interest from Manchester City last summer, it appears unlikely he would be willing to discuss transfer terms with Spurs’ capital rivals.

Paris Saint-Germain – 10/1

Paris Saint-Germain could be in the market for a centre-forward this summer with Mbappe expected to leave the Parc des Princes, with Kane among the finest goalscorers in European football at present.

The move to Ligue 1 would provide Kane with almost guaranteed silverware given PSG’s dominance in France, joining an ambitious project that retains hopes of winning the Champions League in the coming seasons.

The opportunity to play alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi will appeal, whilst PSG are among the few clubs in world football with the resources to tempt the north Londoners into a sale.

Mauricio Pochettino’s presence in Paris is another positive factor, though the Argentine has been linked with leaving PSG at the end of the season.

Manchester United – 6/1

Pochettino has been linked with the vacant role at Manchester United, an appointment that would no doubt spark speculation of a reunion with Kane at Old Trafford.

United’s high-profile summer transfer window has not worked out as planned, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s role in the side questioned and Jadon Sancho taking time to find his feet in English football.

Much will depend on the new name in the manager’s office next season, but Kane is the calibre of signing that could transform the Red Devils from top-four hopefuls into title challengers.

United have previously shown a willingness to raid north London for top talent in search of silverware, though the hope would be that the signing of Kane is more Robin van Persie than Alexis Sanchez,

Manchester City – 5/1

Manchester City are the bookmakers’ favourites to sign Kane this summer, having made little secret of their interest in the three-time Golden Boot winner last summer.

Kane contract will have just two seasons to run at the end of the season and Spurs could be tempted by a huge offer from the Etihad, with the 28-year-old viewed as a footballer who can complete City’s winning machine.

Pep Guardiola saw the full scale of Kane’s talent during Spurs’ 3-2 win at Manchester City last weekend, as the forward won the game with a brilliant individual performance.

Kane’s evolution into a forward comfortable operating as a nine, false nine, or even deeper in a ten role will no doubt appeal to Guardiola, a tactician who values flexibility among his attacking options.
