The Premier League is home to some truly great goalscorers right now and each will be hoping to end the season as the league’s leading scorer.
The Premier League’s Golden Boot is one of the most prestigious individual accolades in English football, but who will take the honour in 2023/24?
For those interested in the latest football odds we’ve looked at the five favourites to win the Premier League Golden Boot.
Marcus Rashford – 25/1
Marcus Rashford is 25/1 to win the Golden Boot, after the best goalscoring season of his career at Manchester United last season.
Rashford scored 30 goals in all competitions for Erik ten Hag’s team to fire the Red Devils to League Cup success and Champions League qualification.
The England international became the first player since Robin van Persie in 2012/13 to score 30 goals in a season for the club.
Ollie Watkins – 20/1
Ollie Watkins has seen his odds reduce after scoring a hat-trick in Aston Villa’s 6-1 win over Brighton last weekend.
Watkins has now scored four goals in the Premier League this season, while his treble against Brighton was his second hat-trick of the season after also scoring three times in the club’s Europa Conference League win over Hibernian.
It’s seven goals in 11 games in all competitions for the 27-year-old, who is pushing for an England recall.
Premier League Awards: Wonderful Watkins and ‘Korean guy’
Mohamed Salah – 14/1
Mohamed Salah will be looking to lead the Premier League for goals for a fourth time this season, a win which would take the Liverpool star level with Thierry Henry for the most Golden Boot awards.
Salah has scored 30+ goals in all competitions in three consecutive campaigns for Liverpool, but his game has evolved in recent seasons with the Egyptian now a more creative presence for the Reds.
Salah won the Premier League’s Playmaker Award in 2021/22 and currently leads the division for assists (4). He has scored three in seven Premier League appearances so far this season.
Son Heung-min – 12/1
Son Heung-min, who has six goals to date and was winner of the Premier League’s Golden Boot in 2021/22, is second favourite at 12/1.
Son’s odds have been slashed after moving to a central role under Ange Postecoglou this season, with the South Korean tasked with replacing the void left by Harry Kane’s exit.
Named as captain ahead of the campaign, he’s made a strong start with six goals in seven games, including a hat-trick at Burnley last month.
Erling Haaland – 1/4
Erling Haaland is odds-on to regain the award he won in record-breaking fashion last season.
Haaland obliterated the record for most goals in a Premier League season after scoring 36 goals during Manchester City’s title success.
That haul was part of a return of 52 in all competitions for the Norwegian, who rightfully claimed the PFA Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year awards.
He’s began the new campaign in ominous fashion with eight goals in seven Premier League games. Stopping him from regaining the Golden Boot will be a formidable task for his challengers.
