Neville: No better player than Pogba in Premier League

Phil Neville has said he doesn’t think there is a player in the Premier League right now who is better than Paul Pogba.

The Manchester United midfielder was once again central to the side’s performance during their 2-0 away win against Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round on Monday night.

Pogba provided a goal and an assist to help United progress in the cup, bringing his tally this season to 16 goals and 9 assists in all competitions up to this point.

Former United and Everton midfielder Neville commended the side’s performance, singling out the Frenchman for praise while applauding caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for getting the best out of the team.

‘It was like watching the Man United of old. Solskjaer got the tactics spot on,’ Neville told the BBC.

‘And right now, under him, I don’t see a better player in the Premier League than Paul Pogba.

‘It’s been an incredible turnaround for United to come here and play with that arrogance and spirit.’

Man United are currently fourth in the Premier League with 51 points, one ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea in the race for Champions League qualification.
