Manchester United agree deal to sign Adrien Rabiot

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus.

United have turned their attention towards the France international as the club look to upgrade their midfield options this summer, with the two teams having now reached an agreement on a fee for the Rabiot.

The 27-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his deal in Turin and Sky Sports are reporting that Rabiot will now discuss personal terms ahead of a move to the Premier League.

The Manchester Evening News have revealed that the fee for Rabiot will be between £15m-£20m and Juventus are open to his sale.

Rabiot has made 129 appearances since joining Juventus on a free transfer from PSG in 2019 and formed part of the team crowned Serie A champions in 2019/20. He previously won five league titles at PSG and has earned 29 caps for France at international level.

United began the Premier League campaign with a defeat to Brighton on Sunday and have increased their efforts to bring in new additions.

Erik ten Hag’s side are also reportedly interested in a deal to sign Marko Arnautovic from Bologna. The former West Ham forward scored 14 league goals in Serie A last season and the Red Devils have seen an offer of £7.6m turned down.
