Manchester United’s reported interest in Jack Grealish has been supported by several players inside the club’s dressing room, though Jadon Sancho remains the priority for the Red Devils during the summer transfer window.
Grealish has previously been linked with a move to Old Trafford and was rumoured to be a target for the club during last summer’s transfer window, though the Aston Villa captain penned a new deal at Villa Park and has since enjoyed an excellent campaign.
The 25-year-old scored six league goals and provided 10 assists despite missing much of the run-in through injury, his performances having seen Grealish break into the England squad where he has impressed at international level.
According to the Telegraph, there is support from some Manchester United players over the prospect of the club renewing their interest in the star, from those who have played with and against Grealish over the past two seasons.
United are keen to sign additional creativity during the transfer window, though the report claims that Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho remains the club’s number one priority.
Sancho was linked continually with a move to the Premier League last summer, but Dortmund’s valuation of around £108m meant there was little tangible progress over a record-breaking deal.
Dortmund are understood to now be prepared to allow the 21-year-old to leave at a discounted fee, with reports that a figure of around £75m will be enough to prise the England international from the Westfalenstadion.
Sancho endured a disappointing start to the season before finding form as Dortmund secured Champions League qualification and DFB-Pokal success, scoring 16 goals and providing 14 assists across all competitions.
The former Manchester City youngster is reportedly keen on a return to England this summer and has also been tentatively linked with both Liverpool and Chelsea.
