Liverpool host Wolves in the Premier League today looking to reestablish their seven-point lead in the title race.
Arsenal’s win at Leicester has narrowed the gap to four points ahead of Wolves’ arrival at Anfield.
Arne Slot’s side suffered a setback in midweek after conceding a last-gasp equaliser in the Merseyside Derby. James Tarkowski’s stunning strike snatched a result for Everton, in the last-ever derby between the teams at Goodison Park. That result followed a shock FA Cup exit at Plymouth and Slot will hope his side can return to winning ways.

Liverpool vs Wolves – Predicted lineup and team news
Liverpool team news
Curtis Jones is suspended for Liverpool after his red card at full-time on the Merseyside Derby. The midfielder’s unhappiness with the celebrations of Abdoulaye Doucoure was the flashpoint for clashes between the two sets of players.
Jones and Doucoure were both sent off, alongside Liverpool manager Arne Slot and assistant Sipke Hulshoff. The coaching duo have until next week to appeal so will be on the touchline against Wolves.
Trent Alexander-Arnold should come back into the starting side after returning from the bench against Everton.
However, Cody Gakpo is doubtful after being withdrawn in discomfort. Darwin Nunez and former Wolves forward Diogo Jota are pushing to replace the in-form Dutchman. Elsewhere, Joe Gomez is still ruled out for the Reds with a hamstring injury.
