Paris Saint Germain are being linked with a surprising move for Liverpool outcast Adam Lallana.

Having once been an integral part of the Liverpool side, the 31-year-old has found opportunities restricted to just 30 Premier League appearances since the start of the 2017/18 campaign, starting just seven times in that period due to a number of injuries and the increased competition and quality in Jurgen Klopp’s ranks.

Liverpool have been linked with Bournemouth’s Ryan Fraser in the upcoming January transfer window, the Reds said to be in ‘advanced talks’ with the South Coast club, which could pave the way for Lallana’s departure.

Lallana’s current deal at Anfield – which sees him earn around £7 million-a-year – is due to expire next summer and his lack of action in recent seasons has apparently convinced Jurgen Klopp that he can ‘live without’ the midfielder.

However, according to the Mirror, the former Southampton star is attracting interest from across the channel, French champions PSG looking at Lallana as a potential replacement for Edinson Cavani, despite the two players barely having any kind of positional comparison.

Uruguayan striker Cavani is apparently wanted by LA Galaxy as a replacement for the enigmatic Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who announced that he was leaving the Californian club earlier this week having ‘conquered’ the MLS.
