Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola has delivered an injury update on Alexander Isak, Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo ahead of their UEFA Champions League meeting with LASK on Wednesday night.
All three players were absent from the Reds’ matchday squad on Sunday when they lost 3-0 to Manchester City at Anfield.
None of them have flown to Linz ahead of the match against the Austrian champions. Iraola is unsure when they will return to action, but says they are not too far from being available for selection.

“They are not far, but it’s difficult to tell you right now. None of the three have trained with the group,” he said.
“We are taking it day by day. The three of them are not far, but I don’t know if they are going to be ready for Brentford, Villarreal, Brighton.”
Virgil van Dijk took a knock to his calf while playing against City on Sunday, but he has travelled with the squad nonetheless. Wataru Endo and Federico Chiesa have remained at home as neither man was registered for the Champions League, while youngsters Jayden Danns, Wellity Lucky and Josh Sonni-Lambie have been called into the squad.
