Jurgen Klopp has discussed his expectations of Tottenham as Liverpool prepare to face the north London side this weekend.
The Premier League leaders make the trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening, looking to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign and maintain their 13 point advantage over nearest challengers Leicester at the summit.
The Merseyside club will come up against a familiar nemesis in the form of Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, and Klopp has discussed how he believes the Portuguese coach will set up his injury-hit team ahead of the clash.
“I’m expecting an organised Spurs side putting some emphasis on defending for sure, counter-attack,” the Liverpool boss said at his pre-match press conference. “The team is too good technically to do just that.
“Eriksen, Alli, Lo Celso, lots of midfielders who can create with speed. Moura and Son, too. Aurier and Sessegnon have speed.”
“We cannot be 100% sure what they will do but we have signs from what Mourinho did at Man Utd against us. Different teams and players though.
“That is normal. Our analysis always ends quite a way from the truth. It is the same for us, we want to be unpredictable.”
