The funniest and best football-related tweets, featuring an emotional Brian Henderson at the Champions League final, Sean Cox, Unai Emery, De Rossi’s farewell, and some high-quality Argentine brawling.
The club season is finally over. Well, aside from all those countries that play their domestic football in the summer. Other than them, the season is finally over after this week’s European finals. Chelsea smashed Arsenal to claim the Europa League, while Liverpool won a historic sixth Champions League title with a 2-0 win over Spurs.
The Premier League club’s triumph meant a bit more to some than others though, two people in particular.

The final itself was not very good to watch, but it wasn’t the only poor quality all-English final we had to sit through this week.
This is the worst quality of football in the first half of a European cup final I've seen since Wednesday.
