The club season is finally over. Well, aside from all those countries that play their domestic football in the summer. Other than them, the season isย finally over after this week’s European finals. Chelsea smashed Arsenal to claim the Europa League, while Liverpool won a historic sixth Champions League title with a 2-0 win over Spurs.

The Premier League club’s triumph meant a bit more to some than others though, two people in particular.

Jordan Henderson’s dad Brian was very emotional seeing his son captain the Reds to glory.ย 

Over a year since being attacked by Roma fans, Sean Cox was able to watch the final with his family.

The final itself was not very good to watch, but it wasn’t the only poor quality all-English final we had to sit through this week.
