Struggling Fulham host the champions Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime, with Pep Guardiola’s side looking to go back to the top of the Premier League.

Here’s all you need to know about this weekend’s game…

Fulham: LLLLL

Fulham’s return to the Premier League is set to end swiftly, after a miserable season which seems certain to end in relegation.

After investing heavily in the summer, many predicted the West London side would have a successful campaign, but defensive fragility has left them 11 points from safety with just seven games remaining.

Scott Parker has replaced Claudio Ranieri on a caretaker basis, the former England midfielder becoming the club’s third managerial appointment of the season.

Fulham have lost seven games in succession, and few will be expecting an upset here.

Six wins in succession since a shock defeat at Newcastle has seen Pep Guardiola’s side wipe out Liverpool’s lead at the top. The champions are in ominous form, and will go back to the top for 24 hours at least with a win on Saturday.

The club remain on course for an unprecedented ‘quadruple’ having advanced to the FA Cup semi-finals prior to the international break.

Raheem Sterling has been in superb form of late, and took that into international duty, with four goals in two games for England.

City could be further boosted by the returns from injury of Fernandinho, Aymeric Laporte and Kevin De Bruyne, with the key trio nearing full fitness.
