Leicester City are one of several Premier League clubs interested in signing Fulham forward Aleksandr Mitrovic.
The 24-year-old looks set to leave Craven Cottage after Fulham’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed with a 4-1 defeat at Watford on Tuesday night.
The former Newcastle forward has been a rare bright spot in a miserable season for the West London club, scoring 10 league goals for Scott Parker’s side.
The Leicester Mercury are reporting that Leicester are interested in signing the Serbian international this summer, with Brendan Rodgers keen to add to his goalscoring options.
Leicester are likely to face competition from several Premier League clubs for Mitrovic’s signature, with Everton, West Ham and Tottenham all credited with an interest.
Mitrovic signed for an initial £22m last summer after a successful loan spell, and Fulham would likely recoup that fee should he depart.
Mitrovic has also been linked with several clubs in the Chinese Super League.
