The FA Cup is down to the final few teams, with the draw for the quarter finals having been now made.
It’s been an intriguing few days of cup football, with Middlesbrough providing the shock of the round so far as they once again disposed of a ‘big six’ side – following up on their defeat of Manchester United in round four by beating Spurs after extra time on Tuesday night.
Elsewhere, Chelsea survived a scare after twice going behind against Luton Town to earn a 3-2 win at Kennilworth Road as they go in pursuit of a ninth FA Cup triumph.
Manchester City and Crystal Palace also saw off lower league opposition to book their place in the last eight, while Liverpool and Southampton beat Premier League sides in Norwich and West Ham respectively.
Despite the draw taking place this evening, there are still two more fixtures to go ahead, non-league side Boreham Wood taking on Everton in round five at Goodison Park on Thursday evening, before Arsenal and Leicester’s conquerors Nottingham Forest take on Huddersfield on Monday.
Here is the FA Cup quarter final draw in full:
Crystal Palace v Everton or Boreham Wood
Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield v Liverpool
Middlesbrough v Chelsea
Southampton v Manchester City
