Everton are believed to be ‘very interested’ in signing Fulham striker Aleksandr Mitrovic.
Marco Silva is desperate to add to his forward options this summer, with the Everton boss believing his side are a prolific goal scorer away from challenging the Premier League‘s top six.
Mitrovic was a rare bright point in a miserable season for relegated Fulham, the Serbian finishing as the club’s top scorer with 11 league goals.
According to Sky Sports, Everton have identified the forward as a player who can spearhead their attack, and will launch a move to sign the 24-year-old, who is keen to remain in the Premier League.
Mitrovic joined Fulham for an initial £22m from Newcastle last summer, having played a key role in their promotion by scoring 12 goals in 17 appearances during a loan spell the previous season.
Everton are set for a busy summer of transfer activity, targeting up to six new additions as they bid to close the gap to the division’s elite.
The Fulham forward is one of several players reported to be interesting the Merseyside club, with speculation suggesting they are also eyeing Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson.
