Mary Earps is set to leave Manchester United when her contact expires to join Paris Saint-Germain.
The England international is out of contract this summer and has rejected the opportunity of a new deal at Manchester United.
The Red Devils were keen to agree terms on an extension for the 31-year-old but Earps has rejected a significant proposal from the club.
Earps is expected to sign for Paris Saint-Germain who have been heavily-linked with signing the shot-stopper, who has won the FIFA Best goalkeeper award in each of the last two seasons.
The Lionesses’ number one is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world and was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 2023 after helping England to the Women’s World Cup final.
Arsenal had previously been linked with Earps, having also signed Alessia Russo from Manchester United on a free transfer last summer, but are now focused on a deal for Aston Villa’s Daphne van Domselaar.
PSG finished as runners-up in the Division 1 Féminine in 2023-24, behind serial champions Lyon. The Parisians are the only team to have broken Lyon’s dominance of the league since 2007, with the latter having won all but one title since 2006-07.
