Emery admits improving Arsenal’s away form is a ‘big challenge.’

Unai Emery says improving Arsenal’s away form remains a ‘big challenge’.

Emery’s side have been in impressive form of late, winning five of their past six league fixtures, though their away displays remain inconsistent.

Arsenal travel to face Everton at Goodison Park this weekend, knowing a win will take them above North London rivals Tottenham and into third in the Premier League.

Having taken just 19 points from 14 away fixtures this season, Emery admits his side face a ‘big challenge’ to improve on an away record which is currently only the 10th best in the division.

“For us it’s a big challenge, away [from home] we want to achieve the same good performances as when we play at Emirates Stadium,’’ Emery told his pre-match press conference.

“We have confidence now but we know it’s very difficult and I think it’s a long way until the last matches. We’ll think about each match coming, [get] the information on how we can take the next matches.

“Now, each match is worth three points, like Sunday against Everton, which is the most important. We know other clubs will take a lot of points.”
