Lucien Favre admits the future of Jadon Sancho remains uncertain amid continued speculation linking the Borussia Dortmund star with a move to Manchester United.
Sancho is attracting interest from the Premier League following a hugely impressive season in the Bundesliga this term, the winger scoring 17 league goals and providing a further 16 assists in Germany’s top flight so far this season.
Manchester United are believed to be the frontrunners to secure a deal that would likely eclipse the British transfer-record, whilst Liverpool and Chelsea are also said to be monitoring the England international.
Dortmund boss, Favre, has been discussing potential transfer activity at the Westfalenstadion and admits the future of the 20-year-old remains unclear amid concrete interest in the player from Europe’s elite.
“We’ll see after the season,” Favre said, as per The Mirror. “Of course, players will leave. We hope the players will stay, but it is possible that players will leave.
“You have already mentioned two [Achraf Hakimi and Sancho] that we don’t definitely know about.
“Of course, they could stay with us, which would be very good for me. But we’ll see what we’ll do, whether it’s in defence, midfield or attack.”
