Chelsea reject £35m bids for Willian

Chelsea have reportedly rejected two bids for Willian.

The winger has just 12 months remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge, meaning he could leave the club for free next summer, although there have been suggestions that he is close to agreeing a new deal.

However, according to Sky Sports, La Liga sides Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have both lodged bids of around £35 million, both which are said to have been rejected.

Barcelona have a long-standing interest in the Brazilian, making a number of offers last summer, while Atletico are in search of a replacement for Antoine Griezmann, who looks set to move to Barcelona this summer.

Despite the threat of potentially losing Willian for free in 12 months time, Chelsea are not prepared to sell him this summer, especially having agreed to sell Eden Hazard to Real Madrid, with their two-window transfer ban preventing them from signing replacements.
