Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in bringing Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez to the Premier League, according to reports in Spain.
The Spaniard has found himself on the fringes of the playing squad at the Camp Nou and is believed to be open to a return to England, having previously spent two seasons at Manchester City.
Suarez has struggled to establish himself at Barcelona since signing for the club from Villarreal in 2016 and has made just a solitary appearance so far this season amidst competition from the likes of Brazilian duo, Philippe Coutinho and Arthur.
Spanish publication AS are reporting that Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has registered an interest in the 24-year-old, with the Italian having previously tried to sign Suarez during his time in charge at Napoli.
Arsenal, however, is believed to be Suarez’s destination of choice, with the midfielder preferring a move to the Emirates. The Spaniard previously worked with Gunners boss Unai Emery during a loan-spell with Sevilla in 2014/15.
