Appreciating Eden Hazard’s impact at Chelsea

Eden Hazard became a modern great for Chelsea during an unforgettable period in west London, the brilliant Belgian starring as one of the Premier League’s finest footballers.

Hazard signed for Chelsea from Lille in 2012 and spent seven seasons at Stamford Bridge, winning two league titles and two Europa League trophies amongst his six major honours with the Blues.

The first of those Premier League winners’ medals saw Hazard prove the inspiration behind Chelsea’s success under Jose Mourinho, ending the season as the PFA Player of the Year following a series of outstanding performances.

The winger scored 110 goals across all competitions for Chelsea and often delivered in vital moments for his side, including a 2018 FA Cup final winner from the penalty spot against Manchester United.

Amongst the most watchable talents the Premier League has seen over the past decade, he moved on to Real Madrid in 2019 but has failed to rediscover his finest form in the Spanish capital.

Linked with a potential return to Chelsea in recent months, we remember the very best of Eden Hazard and his incredible impact in English football.
