The agent of Mohamed Salah has denied that the Liverpool forward has had a ‘major row’ with Jurgen Klopp and that is set to hand in a transfer request

Reports in AS have claimed that the Egyptian has recently had a heated disagreement with his boss, and has subsequently informed Anfield chiefs that he intends to leave Liverpool in the summer and was prepared to hand in a transfer request in order to force a departure.

‘Dressing room sources’ have been credited with informing the Spanish publication about the supposed incident, with the clubs hierarchy reportedly stepping in to de-escalate the situation.

The report says that in order to satisfy their leading goalscorer, they will allow him a departure in the summer with Real Madrid having previously been linked with the 26-year-old as an alternative to Eden Hazard.

However, Ramy Abbas Issa – Salah’s agent – has rubbished the reports with a simple eight-word tweet:

Salah scored one and assisted another as Liverpool booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals with a 6-1 aggregate victory over Porto on Wednesday.
