There can be little doubt that Arsenal having an €80 million bid for in-demand Lille winger Nicolas Pepe accepted today, has been the story dominating the football-related headlines.
The Gunners are expected to wrap up the signing of the hugely talented 24-year-old attacker in the next couple of days, and as always the good people of Football Twitter have been reacting in typical fashion.
It all started when the Oracle of Arsenal David Ornstein broke the news early this morning.
Arsenal have reached an agreement with Lille to sign Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe for ~€80m, paid by instalments to fit #AFC budget. 5yr deal, agent agreement still needed but set to be closed in next 24/48hrs. Napoli also have agreement with #LOSC but agent rejected proposal

How will your Arsenal be able to sign Nicolas Pepe, Kieran Tierney and Zaha when your budget is just £45m?
