World Cup 2026 Round of 16 fixtures, kick off times and TV channels

The FIFA World Cup 2026 has moved onto the round of 16, where England will face Mexico at the historic cauldron that is the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City.

It is one of the tastiest ties of the round, with the Three Lions taking on one of the co-hosts on their own patch at altitude.

Portugal versus Spain is the headline contest of the week, though, as the Iberian nations renew rivalries on Monday. After scoring the first knockout goal of his World Cup career, Cristiano Ronaldo is chasing the one trophy that has eluded him in his career. But the challenge of eliminating the European champions will be a massive one for Portugal.

Five-time winners Brazil clash with dark horses Norway on Sunday in what should be a closely contested matchup, while co-hosts USA will be looking to gain a measure of revenge on Belgium, the team that knocked them out of the World Cup in 2014.

The other co-hosts, Canada, take on Morocco, Paraguay will be huge underdogs against France, and Switzerland play against Colombia, while reigning champions Argentina battle Egypt.
