Erik ten Hag has refused to comment on Mason Greenwood’s situation at Manchester United, following the announcement that all criminal charges had been dropped against the forward.
Greenwood was arrested in January 2022 and later charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, with the allegations surrounding images and videos.
The Crown Prosecution Service said on Thursday that all charges against the 21-year-old have been dropped after key witnesses withdrew their involvement.
United released a club statement in which the Red Devils said the club would ‘conduct its own process before determining next steps’, with Ten Hag having refused to comment on the situation at his pre-match press conference, ahead of United’s clash with Crystal Palace this weekend.
