Pellegrini reveals West Ham will decide on whether to sign Nasri in next few days

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini will make a decision on the signing of Samir Nasri next week.

Former Manchester City and Arsenal midfielder Nasri is a free agent, and has been training with West Ham as he seeks a new club following a six-month doping ban.

Pellegrini is keen to add to his creative midfield options, with Manuel Lanzini, Jack Wilshere and Andriy Yarmolenko all out injured.

Nasri previously played under Pellegrini at Manchester City, winning a Premier League and League Cup double together in the 2013/14 season.

The 31-year-old is free to sign for West Ham from January and Pellegrini says that a decision will be made by the club’s hierarchy in the coming days.

Speaking about Nasri at a press conference ahead of his sides Premier League clash against Watford on Saturday Pellegrini said:

“Samir is working with us very well, he is losing weight, his mentality is to try and have a spot here with the squad, so we will see in the next days.” The Chilean coach said.
