Watford have agreed a £7.5million fee for Newcastle defender Daryl Janmaat.
The Netherlands international is one of a number of big names still yet to be sold by Newcastle following their relegation to the Championship.
Janmaat moved to St James Park two-years ago after a number of impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where he and his Dutch teammates made it all the way to the semi-finals, where they were eventually beaten by Argentina.
He has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs including West Ham and Everton, but it is Watford who look to be closest to securing his signature after agreeing a fee with Newcastle for his transfer.
He will head to Vicarage Road to discuss personal terms and complete a medical.
