WATCH: Arsene Wenger’s views after ‘difficult’ win over Newcastle

Arsene Wenger said it was an important three points for his side after narrowly beating Newcastle 1-0 on Saturday. 

The Gunners had Mesut Ozil to thank after his superb strike ensured all of the points stayed at the Emirates in what Arsene Wenger describes as a physically difficult game.

The Arsenal boss said that despite creating plenty of chances during the game, it was difficult for his side having played three games in six days

As for Newcastle the result leaves them in the drop zone after a dreadful run of results which has seen them go nine games without a win.
