WATCH: Antonio Conte press conference after Chelsea beat Southampton

Antonio Conte claimed that his side did a good job as his side beat a struggling Southampton 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.

The game was won by a solitary piece of brilliance as Marcos Alonso hit a late first half free kick past Fraser Forster.

The result kept Chelsea comfortably in third place in the Premier League and despite only winning by just one goal, the Italian said he was happy with his sides performance and concentration against what he described as a good team

He also hailed the importance of keeping a clean sheet for the confidence of his goalkeeper and defence.

Conte also said that he was happy with the club’s current form overall, and if he could replicate the results from the last 10 games (W 8, D 1, L1), he would sign up for it right away.
