Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are said to be among the many admirers of Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.
Lavia only joined Southampton from Manchester City last summer in a deal worth up to £14m, and despite being just 19 years old, he has been an impressive player despite the Saints struggles this season.
The Belgium under-21 international has made 21 appearances for the south coast club, with a hamstring injury in September and October preventing him from playing in more.
His performances in the Premier League have seemingly alerted a number of big clubs across Europe, with the Mail reporting Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all admirers.
They say that Chelsea have already ‘made enquiries’ over the teenager since his move to Southampton, while Arsenal and United have ‘shown interest’ as both look to bolster their midfield department.
Manchester City have a buyback option of around £40 million as part of the deal that took him to St Mary’s, though the Mail says that it ‘cannot be triggered until next summer’.
