Transfer deadline day did not disappoint as Premier League clubs beat the clock to secure deals.
Manchester City equalled the British transfer record by landing Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, though it wasn’t the only significant signing of the day. Iliman Ndiaye also arrived for a £65m fee, as Jack Grealish returned to Everton on loan.
Spurs swooped to sign Mykhailo Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo from Chelsea, and there was a big deal at Newcastle as Matias Fernandez-Pardo signed from Lille for £51.4m.
Elsewhere, England internationals Ben Chilwell and Ainsley Maitland-Niles returned to the Premier League from France, and Brighton, Fulham and Hull all secured highly-rated midfield starlets.
