Premier League clubs are currently racing against the clock to get deals over the line by the end of Transfer Deadline Day.
At the time of writing, there are less than 12 hours to go before the deadline, which is set at 11pm BST.
The last-minute scramble to get signings through the door is one of the biggest events in the English football calendar, and this summer’s finale is set to be one of the biggest yet.
Premier League deals to watch on Transfer Deadline Day
Enzo Fernandez – Chelsea to Man City
Will it or won’t it finally happen? Enzo Fernandez’ future has been one of the biggest topics of the window in recent weeks and the speculation only intensified after he was left out of the Chelsea squad for the Luton and Brighton games.
Manchester City have reportedly opened talks with the Blues about a potential deal, which would come to well over £100 million. It could be a massive day for City, who are also set to complete the signing of Iliman Ndiaye from Everton, with Jack Grealish going in the opposite direction on loan.
Manu Kone – AS Roma to Chelsea
With Fernandez potentially leaving, Chelsea are said to be close to agreeing a deal with Roma for Manu Kone worth £52 million. The move faces a major roadblock, however, as manager Gian Piero Gasperini is dead set against letting the midfielder leave.
Roma are, though, hoping to sign Jamie Gittens on loan. The winger only made five Premier League starts last season and could find more regular gametime in the Italian capital.
Malick Fofana – Lyon to Sunderland
It appears as though Sunderland have beaten Arsenal to the signing of Malick Fofana, with reports claiming the Black Cats have agreed a fee of £25.7 million plus add-ons with Lyon for the winger.
It is the third wide attacker the Gunners have missed out on this summer after Vinicius Junior penned a new deal and Julian Alvarez refused to leave Atletico Madrid for any club other than Barcelona.
Ethan Nwaneri – Arsenal to Borussia Dortmund
While we’re on the topic of Arsenal and wingers, Ethan Nwaneri is set to join Borussia Dortmund on loan. The 19-year-old has endured a strange year; after an impressive breakthrough campaign in 2024/25, he didn’t start a single league game before being sent to Marseille on loan last January.
If the north London outfit do let Nwaneri leave without bringing in a top-class replacement, then fans will be left wondering what the plan is here. They have already sold Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, and only brought in Christos Tzolis. That leaves them very light in the final third.
Folarin Balogun – AS Monaco to Everton
Richarlison was bound for a romantic return to Everton, then he was heading to Saudi Arabia, and now it looks like he will be staying at Tottenham.
The Toffees are now set to sign USA international Folarin Balogun from Monaco instead, which seems like an altogether more sensible move. The 25-year-old striker is hitting his prime and is far less injury prone than 29-year-old Richarlison.
The deal is worth around £40 million plus £5 million in add-ons. Beto will join Fiorentina to make room for Balogun.
Meanwhile, Tim Iroegbunam is set to join Hull City from Everton in a deal worth up to £22 million. The Merseyside club have agreed a deal to sign former Arsenal man Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Lyon to fill the void at right-back in their squad, which could put an end to their interest in Kenny Tete.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Mykhailo Mudryk – Chelsea to Spurs
Tottenham have reportedly agreed a surprise double deal for Chelsea pair Tosin Adarabioyo and Mykhailo Mudryk. Tosin will join permanently while Mudryk will move on loan.
Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez is expected to join Como after Emi Martinez arrived from Aston Villa.
Matias Fernandez-Pardo – Lille to Newcastle United
Newcastle are reportedly closing in a £55 million deal for Lille forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo. The 21-year-old Belgium international is flying into the UK to finalise the move today.
That signing will allow Nick Woltemade to join Juventus on loan, just a year after joining the Magpies for a club record £65 million transfer fee from Stuttgart.
It is also being reported that Nottingham Forest are plotting a late move for Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy.
Taylor Harwood-Bellis – Southampton to Aston Villa
Aston Villa have already announced the arrival of teenager Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG for around £47 million and they are set to sign a replacement for Ezri Konsa today.
Taylor Harwood-Bellis will join the Villans from Southampton for an initial fee of £25 million, rising to £30 million.
Unai Emery also confirmed on Monday night that Tammy Abraham will not be leaving Villa before the deadline as the striker has chose to stay at the club.
